I do like the American one, but I don't treat it like it's the same show, or else it would suck in comparison!.

The British is the original and to Brits who have worked in offices it was SO TRUE!
The US version has had to tailor itself to American tastes, so they can't really be directly compared!.
Most young Americans don't realise that so many US shows were simply copies of British ones;
