Question: Any other Doctor Who fans hate the Sci-Fi channel!?
I live in the US, and as a result, do not get BBC One!. At the end of the last episode broadcast on the Sci-Fi channel, "Midnight," there was a trailer of the next episode!. Now, I've been well aware that Rose Tyler was returning to the series for a while now, but did the trailer they put out HAVE to just dump her in there!? No dramatic build-up, no big reveal, nothing! Just a non-chalant flash of her and Donna together!. Anyone else peeved by this!? This is not the first time the American broadcasts have pissed me off!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it's actually the BBC who are to blame for that one!. I live in Ireland and I get BBC1 but when Midnight was shown here on BBC1, we got the same spoiler trailer at the end of the episode!. I agree with you about the big, flashy trailer though - it wasn't exactly subtle at all!.

I do have to agree about Sci-fi's poor advertising but i do have to say at least they are showing Doctor Who!. If it wasn't for David Tennant taking the role of "the Doctor" i doubt the US would have ever seen the series!. Thank goodness he can act because he's the one responsible for making Doctor Who such a success!.
I tend to watch the episodes mostly on BBC America or on YouTube!. I usually cant wait for the US airing so i just search Dr who and the episode name and watch it that way!. The UK is usually one week ahead of us and they air their episodes on Saturday nights so usually its on Youtube by Sunday night to Monday!. The great thing about that is no commercials!. Well it is rather ridiculous!. I was annoyed when they showed the trailer for Forest of the Dead, River Song in the chair all hooked up about to kill herself!. That’s a major spoiler right there! They never showed that in the BBC trailers! The SciFi channel has completely different trailers then what the BBC shows and they do a really horrible job with them!. The BBC trailers are so much better!. And yet they really aren’t that good either!
I prefer to watch it online (surfthechannel!.com and veoh!.com are great places to watch it) but I also will watch it when it comes on SciFi every week and I always get really annoyed with that channel!.

Doctor Who is my favorite show ever!. It's the ONLY thing that I like that comes on Sci-Fi channel!. The rest is rubbish!.
