I have been a usa dr who fan for over 25 yrs-Just saw the 2 part finale at our local Dr who/brit tv fan group here in Seattle( that group has been around for over 25 yrs too!.)
I got to have dinner with dr #6 Colin Baker when he came to our local media convention several yrs ago ( I was on the planning comittee), also have met the Brigader, companion Polly at conventions!.
Dr who has ran for over 25 yrs on a local PBS station here with only one short break when the BBC pulled the show but it is back on with the classic series - so far only the 1st of the new series has been shown on that stationWww@Enter-QA@Com

Of course they do!. In Australia it was an institution from 1963-!?!. Although in the later days of what we think of as "classic" Who the ABC seemed to regard it as "not appropriate" while they showed it (I think they were legally obliged) they put it in odd time slots and disparaged it when viewers demanded it be shown!. The new version is shown in prime time and advertised wall to wall despite the fact that, especially since that Kylie/Titanic special, the quality is average to abysmal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes!. We get the new series on the SciFi cable channel!. It used to be on BBC America!. The vintage series (Doctors #3,4,5,6&7) used to be on PBS in the late 70's and 80's!. I have been a fan since the late 70's and was sad to see it taken off the air!. I like the new series by RTD alot!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
