I just watched it on my Dvr!. Nothing happens after he turns it back on!. It just shows him walking out of the room!. Then some filler time at the end it shows the four of them (Sharona, Monk, Captain, and Randall) waiting for a cab!. Sharona says, "I can't believe we're here and we didn't even get to do anything!. We're coming back, I promise!."
Monk says something like, "Here's an idea, why don't we not travel anywhere, ever!."
Then a cab pulls up, but it's the same Indian driver as from the beginning and he says, "I'll drive all of you, except you *points to Monk*"!.
And Captain says, "Ok, how about I handcuff him!?"
Indian Driver: "And double the metre!."
They all enter the cab and leave New York!.
