It annoys me, as well!.
Many networks feel it's too 'shocking', or are worried about losing advertisers due to public pressure!. Many people fear that if it's shown on TV, it will suddenly become acceptable for gay people to kiss in public!.
Next comes anarchy, then the end of the world!.
It's absurd!.

I think there's a big difference between the US and UK on this one!. I don't think I've ever seen a gay kiss on US television- other than a humorous kiss on Will and Grace!. A romantic or lustful kiss is out of the question for US Networks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The 'gay mafia' have an agenda of presenting such scenes on TV and movies so that, eventually, people will accept it as normal!. It is an attempt to manipulate public perception of what is acceptable, and to target vulnerable adolescents who may be going through a confused period in their lives!. By raising its profile, they hope that enough people will be led to experiment with this kind of behaviour and therefore be more 'open-minded' and less critical of those who adopt this lifestyle!.
Basically, if it is presented as 'normal', the gay brigade hope that people will just assume that it must be!. It is nothing short of social manipulation on a grand scale!. And before people start hurling arrows and impugning my own preferences (a tactic merely employed to silence criticism), I have absolutely no interest whatever in what consenting adults get up to in private!. That's not what 'The State' or 'The Law' should concern themselves with!.
However, 'Society', while showing tolerance, should always strive to be better than it is and not allow minorities to set the pattern of what is publicly acceptable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think its because they show male and female kissing in quite long scenes so its only fair they do the same!.
Plus u must admit it takes some pretty strong acting to do a gay kiss if you not gay there for its only fair to show it as much as all the other kissing scenes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
