To me, it's about a mother and daughter relationship!. The teenager goes through drama in her life, and sometimes her mother doesn't understand her!. But, in the end, everything seems to work out!.
It does have some romance in it, but it's not like that the two females go out and try to find men everyday, right!.!?
I like how the mother just does everything that she does, because she cares for her daughter!. But, then the daughter just wants to have fun in life, and thinks that her mom doesn't want that for her!. It's kinda difficult to explain, but yeah!. The whole show is pretty great!.

Uuuuh Gilmore Girls is so not "all about romance and finding love", it's mostly about mother-daughter relationships, happy ones (Rory and her mother Lorelai), and chaotic ones (Lorelai and her mother Emily)!.
Love is of course a big part of the show, with Rory being in her teens and discovering first crushes and Lorelai dealing with Rory's father and other love interests, but I wouldn't say it's the main subject!.
And to answer your other question, why do I like Gilmore Girls !? Well because it's witty, the characters are amazing (JESS !) and I just love the story !Www@Enter-QA@Com

Everyone's talked about the mother-daughter relationships, but it's just smart comedy!. The pop culture references are awesome and the dialogue is snappy and well-written!. That's what I love about GG!.
Certain episodes do a better job at this, and certain episodes are more romance-oriented, but as a whole, GG is really about family in the end!.
That being said, it won't be everyone's cup of tea, and people might be intimidated with all the talking and references, but it's worth trying at least once!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
