Question: Why, on the X-files, did Mulder use to tape an X in his window!?
I've been re-watching them from the beginning, he didn't do it in the first season!. Then today I watched one in season two (out of order) and he's doing the taping!. I'm sure as I get through season two the answer will come out, but I'm curious now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

During the first season Mulder's informant was known as Deep Throat played by the actor Jerry Hardin!.He was shot & killed!.In the second season Mulder gained a new informant known as Mr!.X played by Steven Williams!.To contact Mr!.X Mulder placed the tape on his window and shined a light on it!.Within a few hours Mr!.X would contact Mulder!.Mr!.X is also eventually shot & killed!.He crawls to Mulder's apartment before dying and scrawls the letters SRSG in his own blood!.SRSG is Mulder's next informant!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
