Is TRL live or just parts or what?!
Question: Is TRL live or just parts or what!?
i was over at my friends house today and she went here:

and she was reading the top one, and when i read it i noticed it was posted on July 8th, and he said: "Then I went to NYC to film TRL (so check it out on July 9th on MTV)!. "
and its in past tense!.!.!.
so it cant really be live, can it!?
but i looked on another question, and it said "thats how they take calls" cuz its live!.!.!.
so is the first part of the show when they have the guest/guests pre-recorded, and then the second half when they arent there live!? or is it sometimes live, sometimes not!?
but then i remember i saw the same people on the show for the entire show, and one was pulled off the street!.!.!.so itd hafta be either live or not-live for the entire show, but that doesnt explain the live calls!.!.!.im really confused, what is it!? and how is it done and stuff!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Alright, well they film TRL only on Mondays and Tuesdays (normally) and there are two tapings for each day!. There is a morning show where the call time is 10AM and an afternoon show where the call time is 1PM; the afternoon show starts at 3PM [all EST] and is therefore, the live show!. As you can guess then, that leaves the morning show to be the taped show for Wednesdays and Thursdays!. So you're right, only sometimes-- on Mondays and Tuesdays --is TRL live, but then other times it's not!. Of course, there are always special exceptions to this, but that's how things normally work at the studios!. Hopes that clears up the confusion!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Umm It is recorded live but dosent necessarily mean you get to watch it live (actual time) It is recorded live meaning if they mess up it gets aired and I believe if you live on the east coast you can watch it real time or if you have satelite!. But if you live west coast you see it 3 hours later and sometimes they repeat shows throughout the day!. But it is live because how else do you explain the live callers and web cam conversations!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
TRL is not live unless you are in NEW YORK or on the EAST COAST due to them being three hours ahead !. Take new years eve for example !.!.!.say you live in cali, at 9 p!.m it;s 12 a!.m in NEW YORK!. so there for when you watch the ball drop at 12 a!.m your time in reality it's 3 a!.m east coast time!. So back to TRL if it airs Pacific time @ 3:30 they filmed it at 12:30!.!.!. etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
