Answers:
Depends on what country!. American TV uses NTSC format!. Europe (UK) PAL!.

PAL is far superior than NTSC!. NTSC picture look kind of blurry!.

But before the actual TV broadcast, the film has to be made!. So, mainly different cameras and lighting techniques are used and will be the answer to your question!. Different film types/lenses (real film which is expensive) most films with huge budgets use proper film!. But now with new technology digital cameras are becoming all the norm!. Post production and colouring techniques can produce similar results as 35mm film!. But this is all time consuming and can become very expensive hiring the talented people to achieve a certain look!.

Lighting is also a key issue here!. Good lighting is always the key in producing well lit cinematography!. It's an art in itself!.

So you see, there are many factors to consider!.

A good film will require lots of talented people and expensive equipment to achive that nice artistic look in a film!. It's called cinematography!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its the type on camera they use!. things like holby and neighbours 'changed' recently, and thats because they started filming in hd!. hope this helps!Www@Enter-QA@Com
