Victor hates Heather because she was hard-core investigating him for Ji-Min Kim's murder!. She would show up at his house, tear it apart looking for clues!. She questioned him several times, and he was irritated because Victor believed the culprit to be Jack!. (My personal opinion, I believe that David Chow killed Ji-Min Kim!.)
William and Jill broke up because William caught Jill and Ji-Min 'in the act' of the Jabot boardroom, only to find out later that Gloria had drugged them both!.
Daniel didn't leave Amber; they're still together!. But he left town to be the lead photographer on his dad, Danny Romalotti's world tour!.
And to answer your follow up, Jill and Jeffrey broke up because: a) Jeff told Jill that he slept with Gloria & b) then Jeff told Jill that he still loved Gloria and was done seeing her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think Victor doesn't like Heather cause she is the Atty for Nikki's team and Victor is just being controlling as he always is!.
