That actor who played Donna's dad actually sadly died while the first episode of series 4 "Partners in Crime" was being made!. So the character was repaced by Donna's grand dad, Wilf, at the last minute!.
So in the series, we must assume that Donna's dad died as well, both in the parallel world and Donna's real world!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yes i think it said on doctor who confidential that the actor who played donna's dad in the runaway bride sadly passed away, but they never said what had meant to have happend to him on dr who!.!.!. so i guess we just have to speculate unless they tell us :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
