Maybe, but probably not!. Hypnosis basically puts you in a relaxed dream state!. You know how weird your dreams can be, right!? These "regressions" are basically guided, lucid dreams!.
The problem I see is with how the Dr!. steers them through the process - making suggestions rather than open questions!. He should ask, "What do you see!?" not "Do you see such-and-such!?" I don't think he really means to be deceitful, he just wants it to be true so bad that he helps them along!.
He asked that one woman something about being choked when she had a pain in her neck!. This is the same lousy technique used by inexperienced cops who interview kids who they think might be victims of child abuse!. It led to all those adults being falsely accused of abuse in the McMartin pre-school case!.
The cops asked all the wrong questions and gave the kids ideas that they never would have come up with on their own!.
also, the people always say that they see themselves doing something!. If it were really them in a past life, they should be seeing through their own eyes and not seeing themselves at all (unless they're looking in a mirror or a lake!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com
