yeah he does in the book 1 chapter the water bender scroll he water bends for the 1st time, in the book 2 chapter bitter work aang eath bends for the 1st time!. In book 1 chapter 16 the desserter aang fire bends for the 1st time but after hurting katara he decides to never fire bend again!.
