Unfortunately season 3 of Supernatural only has 16 episodes because of the break in filming caused by the writers strike!. At the time of the strike they had only filmed 12 episodes ending with 'Jus in Bello'!. Only four more episodes were filmed for this season after the strike ended - 'Ghostfacers', 'Long Distance Caller', 'Time Is On My Side' and 'No Rest For The Wicked'!.
The last four episodes aired in the US in April and are being shown in Australia and the UK at the moment!. Episode 16, 'No Rest For The Wicked' is the season finale!.
Season 4 will begin filming next month and is due to begin airing the US on 4 September!.
