It was at the very beggining of the show,
she had her fortune told and the fortune teller put the beetle on her back and it changed her pass so she took the left turn rather than the right and her future was changed,

In tonight's unusually long pre-title sequence (5 minutes long), the Doctor and Donna were visiting a market place on the "Chino planet of 'Shan Shen' "!. The fortune teller persuaded Donna to enter her tent for a reading, although Donna was very reluctant, while the Doctor was haggling at one of the market stalls!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
At the start of the episode she got her fortune told before the opening titles!. She didn't get it told before that but it is slightly confusing when they do it before then because sometimes they do what has happened in previous episodes but it says previously then!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Donna had a parallel universe created around here, she went back to the decision to meet the Doctor, and save his life!. So it went along that path and since she was so important it couldn't happen because Rose helped her to stop it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You get the impression that she gets her fortune told in some sort of market on one of their travels!. We are not told anything about the place or when they got there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
