Question: Why are so many actors now doing reality shows!? Is the pay that good!?

A lot of the actors doing these reality shows are trying to revive their careers!. The pay isn't great (at at all) for most of the shows, but in the competition shows, they can win 100 grand!. But most of them are just doing it for TV time!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

On Dancing with The Stars, you see all these 'has beens' that suddenly become popular - Their publicists and agents
are suggesting they do it!.
Just think of the amount of people watching them!.

One thing, apart from that though - is when 'actors' are put on shows like Survivor, etc!. In a season beginning with Cook Islands they needed a diverse cast of races, and started hiring wannabe actors, and models, to fill the spots!. That makes me angry, especially when they could have just gone through their long list of applicants!. I like seeing Real people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Like gossip Girl for example, every cast member makes $98 an hour every day when filming episodes for new season 3 for 8 hours!. which is $784 a day!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You will notice that these actors are "D" actors ie they can't get work anywhere else and they are usually flash in the
