It's suppose to be an educational show for kids right!?
But don't each character represent someone "unapproved of" in the real world!?
Big Bird: The pervert who invites people over to his house to play!.
Cookie Monster: The junkie
Bert and Ernie: The gay couple!. Bert being the repressed one!.
Then theirs this depressed one - the emo!.
The one who lives in a trash can - the homeless one!.
I read somewhere in a newspaper that this is what it was!.

In some ways the show is twisted, though compared to the old version of the show, it isn't!. Recently, the original Seseme Street was re-released on DVD with a warning on the front!. According to that warning, in those episodes, the Cookie Monster ate too many cookies and the old man (I forget his name) was inviting 4 year-olds into his house to tell them stories!. I think the show isn't completely innappropriate, though, it's still educational and little kids will not pick up on a gay couple or an emo puppet!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Or find clips on YouTube when Kermit or Miss Piggy are on Late night shows like The Tonight Show and The Daily Show!. They will say stuff that you would get a kick out off!.
One time Kermit asked the host of The Today Show back in 1984 the personal question "How's your sex life" then saying "You see, you see, you can't say that on television"!.
So if you think The Muppets are just for kids, then you are saying that you don't like Cartoonish Explotions or puppets slipping adult humor once in a whille!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
