They had a one night stand and then the next day Marty rejected him!.
In time Marty's rejection of Todd turned into tense animosity!. It heated up when Marty became Todd's tutor and he still managed to fail the class and blamed Marty!. That's when Todd extracted his revenge and he and two of his buddies!.!.(one I know was Powell Lord!.)!.!.!.gang raped Marty!.
Todd went to jail and escaped!. As a fugitive he rescued (bear with me!.!.I think it was)!.!.!.Marty, Jessica, and a young Sarah who were in a car accident!. For his good deed he is pardoned and set free!. Though Marty is angered they both eventually reach closure!.

I think Carlo Hesser is Rex's father-he is coming back to the show and he is powerful/evil enough that Roxy would want to keep that a secret-especially since Carlo hates the Buchannans and Rex is tight with Bo!.
