Why are TV commercials so much louder than the show?!

Question: Why are TV commercials so much louder than the show!?
My landlord upstairs is getting mad at me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Because tv channels assume that people get up to go and get stuff from the fridge, or go to the bathroom during commercial breaks!.
So they make the commercials louder so that you'll still hear the messages!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i hate that too my mom always says turn it down when it was fine on the show!.
probably they dont know the shows volume and they dont want it queiter because the people may not hear itWww@Enter-QA@Com

To catch your attention and make you want to buy whatever they're advertising!. I find this really annoying, especially when watching TV at night!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it is because the television programs are so boring that you fall asleep and by making the ads louder they figure they will wake you up to see the commercial!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

hahah same thing here its bc they want your attention just have your remote handy :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
