Desperate Housewives opens the episode bringing us up to date on where we last saw the ladies of Wisteria Lane!. Quick recap of the Mike/Susan wedding, Lynette's cancer diagnosis, Bree's return and fake pregnancy, Gabi and Victor's wedding, Carlos breaking up with Edie then making out with Gabi at her wedding and Edie's hanging herself!.
Ah, but what they didn't show us was the planning and preparation that Edie put into her 'fake' hanging!. She timed it to coincide with Carlos' return to the house!. She was hanging onto the crown molding over the doorway until she heard his key in the doorway, then she let go!. Unfortunately for her, Mrs!. McCluskey calls him back out to reprimand him about the trash cans!. As she hangs there, Mrs!. McCluskey happens to spy her through the window and she and Carlos rescue her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Do you mean Edie!? The one that Carlos was with!? The one that always sleeps around!? She did survive, Mrs!. McClusky saw her in the window because she timed it when Carlos came home and when the old woman looked up she pointed it out to Carlos who rushed into the house and saved her!.
As of the season finale this year, she is out of the show for the next 6 years! They got rid of her by having the women on Wisteria Lane finally tell her off and tell her that they're done with her antics (she was trying to get with Bree's husband and then blackmail Bree and she told the rest of the women) so they confronted her and told her they're done being nice to her and done being her friend because she just keeps backstabbing them, so they told her they're done and when she tried to talk to her, they ignored her and walked away!. She in turn called her son and told him she's coming to visit him for a while and may stay!. That was the end of her in the show!.
The interviews after the finale said that she may not return for another 6 years or so, I guess she'll be back for the final finale when the show ends or for the last season!. The way she left, she can come back at any time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

she was waiting until carlos came in the door and up the stairs and right beofre he wlked in she was going to hang but she accidentally started hanging too early but carlos still saved her in time!. and her plan fell right in place because carlos felt sorry for her and took care of her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
