Question: What is a burn notice!?!? Why was Michael 'burned'!?!?
I just started watching the show and I'm online watching the pilot right now!.!.!.Obviously someone put a burn notice on Michael, but what is a burn notice and why is so serious that he was froze out of everything!?!? Thanks! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

From what I could gather when I watched it from the start, is that a burn notice is when an agent is frozen out of everything!.
The agency that he/she works for leaves that person in the city of the agency's choice with little or no choice!.
Everything they have is just that, frozen!. That is why Michael is in Miami and can't leave!.
So that is why he is trying to find out whom in the agency burned him in the first place in order to get the order rescinded where he can go about living his life!.
No one knows why he was burned, including Michael and that's the appeal!. But something had to be up to freeze him in Miami, his hometown where his mother, brother and two friends reside!. Not a coincidence!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
