A bunch of things!.!.!.the main ones already mentioned ("puff-piece" celebrity interviews, endless makeover/fashion episodes, losing viewers to Ellen Degeneres (and Tyra Banks scraping up the audience share that's left), anger from Hillary Clinton supporters for publicly supporting [or kissing up to, as per your personal opinion] Sen!. Barack Obama, etc!.) doubled with the fact that Oprah's core audience is growing older (women 54 and over according to Neilsen Audience Research)!.
The only thing unique about her magazine is the Oprah name (there are dozens of womens' magazines covering pretty much the same topics); the increasingly condescending know-it-all tone in the magazine and the show has been affecting sales (and all-important ad revenues) for a while now!.
Oxygen Media is now supposedly a takeover target of NBC Universal while the forthcoming OWN cable channel (a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Oprah) was a stock-swap deal (she gets the long-failing Discovery Health Channel while Discovery gets 50% of oprah!.com) that has wound up a few more people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Obviously she will not go broke if her show and magazine cease to exist, however, I think people are just getting tired of her!. She has been around for a long time and my personal opinion is she seems to have lost touch with the "real" people now and comes across as very smug and thinks she knows everything!. I can do without her, Dr!. Phil, Rachel Ray and Dr!. Oz (who likely is in discussions to get his own show)!.!.!.I am tired of the Oprah empire!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

She keeps doing crap shows with makeovers, fashion, frickin' Tom Cruise (or similar) and other topics which have no merit!. It seems that her shows about serious issues have taken a back seat to pap!.
