If by queer you mean strange, then no, not really!. Damian is his first name as was established early on in his introduction to the show!. He was trying to act refined and sophisticated!. While some men (such as Jasper "Jax" Jacks) can go by their surname and still come off as charming and debonair, Spinelli needed to distance himself from the more bumbling persona everyone knows and expects of him!. Introducing himself by his first name made sense!.

No it wasn't queer at all cuz Spinelli is the boy's lastname; his fullname is Damian Millhouse Spinelli and Jax is grooming him to become a debonair gentleman!. Lorenzo Alcazar hired Spinelli for his computer skills in the beginning and addressed him by his lastname Spinelli and it just stuck with everyone else; remember Lorenzo would call Jason Morgan as Morgan and Sonny Corinthos as just Corinthos so Damian Spinelli would be just Spinelli!.!.!.LOLWww@Enter-QA@Com
