Has The Apprentice has set a poor example to corporate Britain?!

Question: Has The Apprentice has set a poor example to corporate Britain!?
Sir Alan is rude, insulting and overly critical; the contestants survive by blame shifting, lying and standing mute while others make a hash of things so that they can use it as ammunition later!. Everyone bigs themself up and it's clear that the only thing that matters to anyone in Sralan's business is racking in mega-bucks!. There is no mutual support or team work going on, just a fight to the death over kudos and loot, presided over by barrow-boy-made-good yes people!. And finally, 'You're fired'!. Well thanks very much, will you tell my family and mortgage lender, or should I!? And who wins, the guy who lies on his CV of course, which was treated with as much casual disregard as if he'd forgot to tie his shoelace!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree!. And if the contestants are meant to be a representation of the creme de la creme of good business minds in this country then lord help us all! As well as being conniving, shifty and egocentric these people are bumbling, incoherent, less than eloquent and just a little stupid! More suited to going on Big Brother than a show that is meant to represent sharp minds and good business acumen!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just shows what a bunch of back stabbing liars we actually work with - it just isn't filmed !Www@Enter-QA@Com

Perhaps that is how things happen in the corporate world and the show reflected it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you question is "has Lee's appointment set a poor example", then I don't agree!. He is probably dyslexic, so he lied on his CV about being at University for two years to cover that up!. Bearing in mind that even illiterate people have risen to the top in business, that should not hold him back!. We should not hound Lee for trying to better himself!.
As far as the rest of the Candidates' behaviour goes, we probably learn more from them doing things wrong, than if they make no mistakes at all!.
As The Apprentice is half entertainment and half education, I would argue that "you're fired" is the equivalent of the Emperor giving the thumbs down after a gladiatorial combat, way back in Roman times, so it's nothing new!. This time, no one gets killed!.
As for the educational part ot it, there are loads of business lessons, which I have taken from it!. Sir Alan gave a retail price of £29, of which the packaging of "Dual" would account for too much!. The Marrakesh episode emphasised the same point - the brief has to be followed!. The animal hide was obtained cheaply, by buying from the wholesaler, not from the retailer!. And so on!.
The whole process is artificial, as a business would have more than three days to bring a mens' fragrance to market!. It's still thumping good entertainment and people who know what they're talking about can make good points in the sister programme "You're Fired", reinforcing the educational points!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
