Question: Who else was on the edge of their seat watching Top Chef when they made it seem like Lisa would win!?
Did anyone actually like her!? In their polls 91% wanted her to leave last week!. This week, only 4% wanted her to win! Usually there’s a little more balance!. I would have been so mad if she won, she got there by the skin of her teeth almost every challenge!! Richard choked this last one, but he and Stephanie performed well pretty consistently!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was totally at the edge of my seat! I would have been livid if she had won!. It is quite a shocker that Lisa almost edged her way to a win, but I am so glad that she didn't! It's too bad that Richard choked!. He just over thought things, and I think he probably could have won it with just a bit of salt and pepper and a better frying pan (to sear that pork belly)!.
I also think that what helped to define who won was that upon questioning them on what they intended and what the result was, Stephanie was the only one who said that the dessert was not exactly what she had intended, and she was shocked that the leeks were undercooked!. On the other hand, Lisa said she was going for that in your face sauce with the shrimp, and meant to barely cook the beef!. Richard said he wouldn't sear the pork belly as it would have effected the integrity of the dish!.!.!.I think based upon that the judges had to consider that the things they didn't care for in those dishes the chefs stood by!.
Stephanie, however, was completely shocked and embarrassed that the leeks were underdone, instead of saying that she was going for that al dente crunch!. And she said she wasn't a fan of how the dessert turned out!.
Plus I think the judges look at how people competed throughout the season as well as things that they have done before!. The two dishes that were Lisa's best - the soup and the pudding - were both dishes that she has done many many times!. I think that reflects on the type of chef you are if you just pull things out of your repertoire as opposed to creating something or experimenting with a twist on an old favorite!.
Ultimately, Stephanie completely deserved to win based upon tonight's episode!. I saw her a couple of weeks ago walking around my building, and she had quite a peaceful happy look about her - that should have tipped me off!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I thought for sure after the second course that Lisa would win!. And then the judges talk about how good her meal was!. Gayle Simmons came right out and said that Stephanie's dessert sucked!. When I heard that I thought that she wouldn't win!. But I'm glad she did!. It's about time a woman won!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I was!. If Lisa had won after being on the bottom for so many Eliminations, the show would have looked like a joke!.
I felt bad about Richard but he's got a new baby now!. I'd love to eat at any restaurant he cooks in so I figure he'll probably be okay!.

I was so surprised that Richard choked, but really glad Stephanie won!. She is really good and definetly grace under pressure!. If Lisa would have won I never would have watched that show again!. She did not deserve to even be in the top three!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
