Recommend a sitcom boxset?!
Question: Recommend a sitcom boxset!?
I am planning to spend some money on a complete dvd boxset of a sitcom this summer!. I am currently undecided between Everybody Loves Raymond and Seinfeld!. I have seen few clips of both but they are not enough to judge IMHO!. What do you recommend!? Please note that I will prefer a clean sitcom so that I can be able to watch it with the wife who don't find vulgarity/profanity funny!.
I have also noticed that the laugh track in Seinfeld keeps going on although nothing was actually funny!. Is this the normal thing with this sitcom!? If yes, why is it then that popular!? Does it really deserve its cult status!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well i like both a lot!. They are very different, two different kinds of comedy!. I can relate the Raymond and his family, but also find seinfelds humor about nothing very funny!. It would be hard to pick!. If i was forced to decide i would say Seinfeld!. But if you like british comedy, Check out Monty Python, "Little Britain" (not for the wife very crude) or coupling not too bad but preview before watching with your wife!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
