I do!. He has to cope in the real world and he has been doing it for years so I don't think he deserves any special treatment!. I wouldn't have a problem to give him a helping hand sometimes but if he was rude to me !.!.!.I'd tell him to go to hell same as I would tell anyone else!.

I feel sorry for Mikey - not because he's blind but because of the patronising way the others are treating him!. Lets face it Mario is only being the big hero towards him to make himself look good, he's just using him!. I do think Mikeys tears were real though, he thought the wedding was genuine and that it was his fault it wasn't going to go ahead - all because he's blind, that would have made me cry!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yeh i agree hes more than capable im not insensitive and i understand different people have different needs and i respect that, but going on BB wanting to be the same, and then using your differences to gain sympathy in my vote is unfair to everyone else cos no1 will question that!. I believe Mikey is more than capable!. Hes a top guy!.!.!.but its unfair that the other housemates have to be obliged to be nice to him!. From what I have seen of him he seems quite child like in some respects - and says things that he probably doesnt mean!.
But I hate the way that he is treated different by some of the housemates!. Just because he is blind some of them treat him like a helpless child who needs looking after!. If I was blind then I know that that would REALLY annoy me!.
I have a very bad stutter (I know this pales in comparison to being blind) but when I start stuttering sometimes to people they suddenly slow their speech and treat me like I am dumb!. (On the phone once someone asked if I was stupid because I couldnt say my name!)

i haven't really been watching but from what i did see, i thought they were all being really patronizing towards Mikey!.
i thought originally, he had a disability like autism or something but then was told that he is blind!.

Totally agree with you Whip!.!.!. i'm not saying that Mikey is not a nice guy!.!.!. but the way some people are so patronizing about it !.!. and automatically assume he can do no wrong is just nonsense!.!.
he's not automatically the nicest person in there just because he's blind!.!. he's actually a bit of a lad!.!. and up for anything!.!.

Well having brought up someone severly disabled in a wheelchir it never amazed me after so long people who thought one she could do f all but the worst that she did not understand a word they where saying she DID!!
