In season 4 episode "The Constant" Desmond experiences some side effects because he left the island!.!.!.!.Im a few episodes past that now but I cant tell if he got his memory back!.Did He!?!?!? ThanksWww@Enter-QA@Com

It was never really explained!. I had some trouble with that as well!. I am not sure but it seems like he was familiar with the other Oceanic Survivors so I think maybe when he found his Constant (Penny) he was able to create enough stability that he regained his memory!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Once he connected with Penny Desmond' time traveling and memory lapses stopped!. He also hasn't had any preminitions of death!.!.!.!.or atleast they haven't been revealed!.!.!.Brotha!!
