I'm a fan of both shows, but overall, I think the Simpsons comes out on top!. It's had a larger impact on pop culture, the cast of characters are more enduring, and the high points eclipse those of Family Guy's, especially the strong scripts and dialogue of the earlier seasons!. As an added bonus, the Simpsons doesn't rely on the same joke scheme that Family Guy uses on a regular basis!.
And ever since Family Guy came back from cancellation, the show hasn't had the same kick to it!. It took the Simpsons well over a decade to lose that same kick!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Family Guy is great but it is getting old to me!. I think the Simpsons are written better!. Family Guy just got to the point where they throw random jokes that are unrelated to the story in to get a cheap laugh!. It is funny but I will always be a fan of the Simpsons!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Family Guy is way better than the Simpsons but South Park beats them all, not including the latest batch of episodes that aired this year, those episodes did not show any substance like the past episodesWww@Enter-QA@Com
i was absolutley obsessed with simpsons (as most kids were) but only because ive seen all the episodes im a little more into family guy at the moment, but it changes back and forth quite quickly for me!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Simpsons is a bit less adult, Family Guy really pushes the envelope!! And I just adore Stewies musical numbers :o)
