Sam Seaborn, the President's Deputy Communications Director (Rob Lowe), and Laurie (Lisa Edelstein, now Dr!. Cuddy on "House") get together in a physical way, then Sam finds out that shes a call girl!. This happens in the pilot episode!. Her character was a good one, and appeared in 5 episodes early on!.
