A show that wouldn't normally be expected to be successful, except that a (usually small) group of fanatic fans keeps it going!. Star Trek, X Files, Buffy, etc!. I loved Star Trek and the X Files!.
It can also apply to a cult movie - like Rocky Horror Picture Show, where the same people went to see it at the midnight showing every weekend for years!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Dog_trainer Pretty much hit the nail on the head, anything that draws a small amount of fanatical support some times coming more from dvd sales then when the show was first on the air
