Did the USA get the 70's kids shows, "The Friendly Giant" and &quo!

Question: Did the USA get the 70's kids shows, "The Friendly Giant" and "Mr!. Dressup"!?
I absolutely loved these two shows when I was a kid, and I was reminded of them by another YA question!. Did the USA get these shows!? If you're Canadian, did you watch them!? Like them!?

(My niece still loves Mr!. Dressup, and it's thirty years later!. They still ran his show until recently, even after Mr!. Dressup passed away!.)

Happy memories!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
"Mr!. Dressup" was never distributed to the US market while "The Friendly Giant" was on during daytime classroom TV schedules in the States during the early 1980s, having been made by the Instructional Television Co-operative (ITVC); this educational television producer's archive is apparently now in the hands of AIT (Agency for Instructional Technology)Www@Enter-QA@Com

As a kid and regular watcher of tv in the 70's, I can tell you those shows do not ring any bells whatsoever so I would have to say no, they didn't show them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
