(Game shows) Why does it seem like...?!

Question: (Game shows) Why does it seem like!.!.!.!?
Why does it seem like game shows such as Fear Factor, Big Brother, VH1's Celebracadebra, VH1's Most Smartest Model, (and possibly MTV's Top Model) etc!. only get paid $100,000 or less!.!.!.

!.!.!.but on quick, one-hour shows such as Deal or No Deal, Millionare, Power of 10, etc!. you can win up to $1,000,000 just like that with almost no work compared to the others mentioned above - which are shows that extend out for months!.

On fear factor, you only win $50,000 and you have to do A LOT more work to earn that, than on a gameshow like Deal or No Deal where all you do is pick cases and can automatically win up to $1,000,000!.

I also think that somebody who spends 3 months on Big Brother should win at least $1,000,000 (if not more) instead of just the $100,000 like they get at the end!.

Anyway, so I'm asking!.!.!. Why do you think people get paid more on 30-minute to hour-long shows than on shows where you have to work harder and/or have to spend months playing it and get paid less!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
The answer to your question has absolutely nothing to do with the examples you sited!.

The answer is "Sponsor Dollars"!. To get them you must provide an audience, a big audience!. For whatever reason, those "Luck" shows you mentioned, draw the audiences!. It probably has a lot to do with people fantasizing about doing it themselves!.

You could compare the audience of these high dollar shows to the people who play the lottery!. People with an education KNOW that the lottery is simply a tax on people who are incapable of performing basic mathematical functions!. Some play knowing that and some who know it refrain from playing!. But either way, when you do the math; you are far less likely to win a million dollars in the lottery than you are to have walked on the moon!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
