The brother was bitten by his younger brother but didn't notice it right away, and once they got outside thats when he looked at his shoulder and saw blood and teeth marks!. So basically since he got bitten by a vampire, he's going to turn into a vampire soon!. When the girl closed the gate she had that "here we go again" look, indicating that either:
1) She is going to go back and kill him cause she can't release a vampire into the world
or
2) She loves him, can't kill him, and is going to keep him inside the house and provide him with human food just like she provided the evil vampire with human food!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

idk! the ending confused me!. idk y she shut the gate!. and if she really were a vampire, wouldnt she look less normal!? maybe she was going to kill him!. cause she looked awfully excited to see the outside world!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
