I know that GH isnt the same since guza took over 1996 you know he brought the jason morgan jax to be a sidelined for sonny and brenda he was doing fine but the Mob just got out of control on the show i mean who on here agree with meWww@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think things were too bad when he first came on in the late 90's!. I mean, that's actually one of my favorite time frames on the show, when Robin was w/Jason, Lucky and Liz were teenagers falling in love, the Sonny/Brenda/Jax triangle, the Spencer/Cassadine feud!. That was good stuff!. But, yes, as the years have gone by, the storylines have become more and more entangled with the mob, until now, the mob dominates almost all storylines, which was not the case before!. And it has really affected the show in a negative way!. They spend so much time showing the violence of that life, and not enough time building relationships between the characters, and the show has suffered for it!. They (the writers) should look back at the storylines in the 80's and 90's and compare them to the storylines now, to see where they've gone wrong and fix it!. They def broke what didn't need to be fixed!. So they should start fixing what they have broken (what used to be a darn good show!)Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes!!! The backbone family of the show (Quartermaines) have been disassembled, he almost writes Luke into a corner with the heart attack, and though I enjoy the mob stories, they have basically become the same story over and over!. also, in my opinion, the writing has characters acting out of character, which is frustrating to watch!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think Guza is seriously mentally ill!. He's obsessed with violence, he's a complete misogynist and he seems determined to wipe out everything that made this show great!. In short, I think you're absolutely right!.
The sad part is, if you read his interviews it's clear that he thinks of himself as a genius!. He does nothing but rip off of popular movies -- and *badly* no less -- but in his own mind, he's brilliant and original!. Ok I miss the old GH but I think the problem is that Guza cant make the transition from old to knew!. To be honest I can see some of his logic he is just going about it the wrong way!. Sonny and Jason and the rest of the cast is getting older, so I do understand why he is focusing a bit more on the younger croud!. However, I do agree he took the mob storyline to far, what happen to the Q's, Spencers, Baldwin,Cassadines, Webbers etc and lets not forget the classic and new love stories!. This is what makes GH so if he would incorporate the family, love and maybe mob stories he maybe fine!. As for Maxie, Lulu, Johnny, Spinelli, and Logan they need better and new storylines because they are the future of GH!. We dont need a repeat Carly and Sonny, Jason and Liz, Liz and Lucky etc the younger people need a new and fresh storyline!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You could be right!. I have been watching for 30 years and I find myself fast forwarding through half of it anymore!. They have drifted away from the hospital and the core families and we are just bored to death!. The Mob stuff is ridiculous!. Why they haven't figured that out by now amazes me!. I don't know who's fault it is!. But I quit watching for years and then I started watching again when Michael and the other kids were kidnapped!. I loved the Michael character!. The fact that he had been on for so many years was great!. Who knew they would shoot him in the head!. The cops used to be competent!. Now even Mac is reduced to a joke!. So many good characters have been killed!. It is kind of getting old!. I love Coop and Georgie!. Even the nanny was great and they killed her!. The mob has pretty much taken over but since Robin has come home there has been effort to show more things revolving around the hospital!. I loved GH when more time was spent in GH!. But, it is still a great show and the best out of all soaps!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
