Those idiots at CBS cancel shows like Jericho and Moonlight (the Peoples Choice Award winner for best new drama) and put on crap like Swingtown!. From the promos I've seen, the best part would be the music, and I still have my music collection from the 70's!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm offended by most network t!.v!. shows because they're lame and cliche-ridden!. As far as the subject of the show;swingers are Americans,with their' own lifestyle,philosophy and history!.There is absolutely NO REASON( I'm not shouting,Yahoo dosn't have italics) why a show about them shouldn't be hitting the waves!. I almost want to laugh at myself for thinking this,but are the networks finally growing up a little bit!? Can we look forward to semi-realistic depictions of OTHERS who don't fit the cardboard-cutout image of wholesome,tighta**ed America!?Like,for example,nudists!?We've been depicted in mainstream entertainment mostly as either closet pervs who want to see your' wee wee,or hippyistic airheads who want to hug trees or eat tofu( I am NEITHER,thanks anyway)!. You wouldn't believe this,but I even had a contact,who I always otherwise found to be an intelligent,relatively open-minded individual,rag me out because she asked about the best way to get an all-over tan,and I told her the nude beach is the place to do that!Duh,if you don't want tan lines,and dont wanna be orange,what is the best way to achieve that!?(yer one of my fave's,J,I'm typing with a smile on my face)! The idea behind Swingtown is fine,and truly inclusive,I just hope the Network dosn't muck it up,which they probably will!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I was totally offended! My teenage daughter and her boyfriend were watching and asked is that what you all did in the 70's!? Well, my answer was no, not everyone was having group sex and doing drugs! It is just promoting SEX! I agree why are we offered such crap when they stole Jericho from us!Www@Enter-QA@Com
