Answers:
If you ever watched Ramsay's old shows of his kitchen he is exactly like that in his own restaurant!. I understand high expectations but if anyone yelled or screamed or cussed at me like that I would be looking for a new job!. That being said I love watching him, as long as he isn't yelling at me I think it is great fun!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Most head chefs act this way when they have an incompetent individual working for them!. Think about it for a minute!. If you ate undercooked chicken, raw meat or fish and got sick, what would you do!? Yes, restaurants work best with word-of-mouth advertising!. Lawsuits do not make for good advertising!.

Chef Ramsey has other shows that he is on and he acts this way whenever he is in the kitchen and is dealing with incompetence!. Hell's Kitchen happens to be filled with incompetents!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've worked in a few kitchens before, and all the Chef's that I've met have had a little "Gordon" in them!. It's natural for a chef to want the very best from his kitchen staff, at the end of the day he is the one that would have to explain why the food is bad, but Gordon does take it to the extreme on occasions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I watched it too, but I did not find it disturbing!. The whole reason we tune in every week is to see him act like that!. That is how he acts IN the kitchen, not OUT of it!. I think that it is just how he is!. That's what he is best known for, after his cooking of course!. He isn't evil, just very particular about his kitchen!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its TV!.!.!.!. the show was designed that way for a reason!. I don't think this is the case in real life!.

Chef Ramsey isn't that bad of a guy!.!.he's just trying to find out who is the best and who can handle that amount of stress!.

I do agree with you about last nights show!.!. it was a bit over the top, but I'm glad Matt is finally gone!. I wish they would have let him go last week instead of LourossWww@Enter-QA@Com

It's exaggerated for TV but Chefs (especially in top notch restaurants) are very demanding on their employees!. They tend to have big ego's that need to be stroked!.

Outside of restaurants, no!. Screaming and yelling is not acceptable for a manager!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Chef Ramsey just has high expectations and I feel for the old chap because the casting director for his show keeps sending him bumbling idiots!. I think its a riot!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I run my business that way!. It's easy: pay 50% more than normal, and find people who can do twice as much under pressure!. Everybody wins!. It's business, not courtesy class!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Rude but they do it for the other chefs own good because they need to know all this stuff if they want to become Ramsay's inspiring chefWww@Enter-QA@Com

Of course not!.!.!.!.it's just for TV!. If a boss was really like that, he would have no employees!. If Gordon Ramsey was like that would Rock still be there!?!? I don't think so!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Mostly bosses in the military!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's tv for crying out loud!. They act that way for the ratings!. The better the ratings, the more old Gordon rakes in!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no they make the programme this way because it makes good television!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
