Answers:
In the first series Vince and Howard work at the zoo with their boss Bob Fossil (HE IS HILARIOUS!. he doesn't know the names of any of the animals, for example he calls an elephant "the grey leg face man"!. He is basically a stereotype of an idiotic, slightly messed up American)!. Naboo is the magician guy who works at the gift shop and gives them advice - he was probably in the episode you saw - if he wasn't he's Vince's brother in real life and his bad acting is the perfect recipe for naboo!.) The owner of the zoo is dixon Bainbridge, he has a huge moustache and he's a complete arrrsse hole but in a funny way!. Most of the storylines in this first series are set in the zoo and the guys don't live together very much!. Bollo (the gorilla) is a minor character!. Storylines include one about Vince and Howard going to the arctic to retrieve a stone!. one where Vince invents a story about a pile of bubblegum called charlie who gets turned into a vacuum cleaner, one where animals at the zoo are being cross bred to create mutants, one where Howard has to fight a kangaroo and various other ones!.

In series two Vince, Howard, Bollo and Naboo all live in a flat and Vince and Howard are trying to kick start their music career!. Bainbridge and Bob Fossil are lesser characters but the guy who plays Bob Fossil (Richard someone i think) is in it as lots of different characters!. You also get moss from the it crowd as Saboo, a member of like some magician council that Naboo belongs to!. Storylines in this series include one where Vince and Howard are stuck on a desert island and hallucinate that coconuts are alive, one where they go searching for the fountain of youth, one where they release a devil grandma!. and heaps of other ones i can't remember!. In this series Vince and Howard get out and about a lot more and they play more characters, for example Noel Fielding (Vince) plays a pink head called Tony Harrison who constantly says "this is an outrage" and the classic line "my navigational skills are second to none!"!.

Every episode has one or two song pieces in it which are always funny and run for about a minute!. Most episodes the boys have some sort of adventure!.

I don't know much about series three, which is probably one of the episodes you saw, but

if you like good adventurous storylines go for series 2

if you like stupid conversations and dialogue go for series 1!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I caught the end of the first season during their first show, I think it was actually the one with the animated bubble gum!.!. and that was what caught my eye!. They just keep getting better!.!.

I know you shouldn't but you can find a lot of episodes on the web to watch!. I'd say more but Marez really covered it!.

Apart from perhaps mentioning Hitcher the green cockney nutjob who wears a giant polo over one eye!. Particularly scary character, but absolutely hilarious!.

And if you ever get to see the Legend of Milky Joe!.!. I think that was perhaps their best episode!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Plot!? Impossible to explain!. Vince and Howard are the new Morcombe and Wise!. They live together (but not in that way) variously in a zoo, a flat, a shop!. Their friends include a talking Gorilla and a Shamen and they constantly thwart the evil plans of Bob Fossil!.

Early radio and TV stuff was improvised, so plots tended to go out of the window, but the later shows are more structured!.

I think some of it is genius, but it can be a bit hit and miss however it is worth waiting for the genius bits!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's not really possible to describe any plots as such, Vince and Howard are best friends, they start of working in a zoo and end up working in a shop!. Really, you have to just see it, watch it from the beginning, it's very unusual, one of those things that people either love or hate because it's not bland,
I absolutely love it, my fave TV comedy ever!.:)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I thought that series one was really funny, but feel it's gone too weird even for my tastes now!.

Get the first season though which is based around Vince & Howard being zookeepers!. It's funny but not QUITE as bizarre as the later stuff!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It is so random that you are best to see the dvd!.

My daughter can tell you all about Vince, Howard, Bollo, and the gang, and the zoo!.Oh all of that, she is at school at the mo though!Www@Enter-QA@Com

its cr@p your fiance is right, so no answer!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love irreverant humour and silliness, but this has to be the worst programme ever made!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
