It came out from Christian to Sarah in an episode that the deal with Jamie is fake too- it is being used around Ramsey so that he will keep involving Antonio in his illegal doings, like stealing the crowned jewels!. If Ramsey believes Antonio needs money, he will also think that Antonio will be willing to help him steal and get a personal gain (money) from it!. Antonio is going along with Ramsey, but what Ramsey doesn't know is that Antonio is setting him up!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
It was all part of the plot!. John had Michael come to the police station and tell Antonio that so Ramsey would overhear and KNOW that Antonio really did need a lot of money and needed to keep his job!. That way Ramsey has Antonio right under his thumb!.

No, Antonio is pretending so he can gain Ramsey's trust and by doing so Ramsey is letting him help out on stuff a cop shouldnt do!! He thinks Antonio needs money and he will do anything to get it! This way Antonio and John can nail him as a dirty cop and run him out of town!Www@Enter-QA@Com
