Question: What do you think would be an interesting time period for a historical TV series!?
Answers:
The show Rome on HBO was about Ancient Rome and plotting the murder of Caesar!. It was very good!. Showtime's answer to that "The Tudors" is not as good but a more accurate depiction of Feudal England and King Henry VIII than The Other Boleyn Girl!. HBO's miniseries about Colonial America entitled "John Adams" was also very good but not very accurate!.

If you want an original time period that hasn't been turned into a series before, I'd say the California Gold Rush time of 1849!. Or for a foreign time period, I would say the French Revolution, or something about the ancient Mayans!.

I like shows set during the 1900's, and the Great Depression (1930's) would be very interesting!. Or a miniseries about the Titanic (1912) and it's aftermath would be interesting!. Something during WWII would also be interesting (1940s)!. There are many shows about the 1950's and 1960's, but Mad Men is one of the best!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'd say the early 1900s, like 1900 up to the end of the Great Depression!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Great Depression of the 1930sWww@Enter-QA@Com

I'd like to see a TV series set in ancient Rome, but that's just me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
