Help Find Sci-Fi Show Name?!

ok so from what i watched form the first few episodes people were disappearing from earth over a 40 year span i think it was not sure just over a long period and it shows these two teenagers camping and something form the sky abducts one of the kids and puts the other in a coma!. now either the friends dad or the coma kids dad is looking for answers about what happened!. then one day a big orb of light landed on the earth and exploded then all the people who disappeared over the years were standing there the government then rushes them off to quarantine and im not sure i think they then proceed to release them anyways the thing about these people is they have now gained powers i didnt watch much after this and im sorry if its jumbled but i would love to find this show please help thanks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
