I Googled Criminal Minds and went to Wikipedia; The site initially stated that it had been renewed for another season, but after I read: Det!. William LaMontagne Jr!.
Played By Josh Stewart!. FIrst seen in 2x18 ("Jones") as a New Orleans detective investigating a serial killer!. The killer was discovered by his father, who was unfortunately killed in Hurricane Katrina and he then headed the investigation!. LaMontagne called in the BAU to assist him in the investigation which was ultimately successful in capturing the woman killer!. In this episode we first see the attraction between JJ and Will!. The relationship is then confirmed in 3x16 ("In Heat") and it is seen that they have been involved for over a year!. In 3x17 ("The Crossing") we discover JJ is pregnant; in the series finale ("Lo-Fi"), we discover he is willing to give up his job to raise the baby with JJ, and that he has asked her to marry him!.
