Yes he does!. Obviously because it's a TV show there has to be rehearsals but overall I think Dr Phil is very genuine!.

Some people I'll think you'll find (especially in soaps category) have a downer on Dr Phil!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the Supernanny helps more people sort out problems than Dr!. Phil!. I think he just stirs them up even more!. I think he is able to help women, but men are so stubborn and controlling and set in their ways that most of the time, it's hard to help them!. They think they're always right, and women are able to listen and learn!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think he tries!. He usually seems to end up picking on one person really hard core though, and using round about ways of talking like "Don't sell me a nuthouse and call it a necklace!." :) LOL, He makes me a little crazy with all that!. And when the audience claps, he just keeps em coming until nobody listens anymore!. But, really, I don't think a one hour television show is enough to solve the problems of marriage!. People need recurring counseling for things like that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

He might be helping people but I don't believe it happens on the show, I think when he sends them to other Dr's away from the show they are being helped!.

I think Dr Phil is a very bright man with all sorts of answers--but as the others stated, he's on TV to make money!. I'd love to have him as my private counselor!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
