Answers:
Most of the time they are, albeit an extremely distorted reality!. Obviously there are some plots -- Erica Kane's unaborted son on AMC, Casey the Alien on GH, etc!. -- that are completely fantastical, but those are luckily few and far between!. The main soap staples, like adultery, lies, unplanned pregnancies, bad business dealings, etc!. are all things that happen on a daily basis, but soaps make them a lot more dramatic than they are in real life by combining them or making them all happen to a relatively small group of people!. There are other soap plots that do unfortunately happen in the real world, but not nearly as frequently as they do on soaps, such as someone faking their own death or babies being switched at birth!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
no i dont think so but i would like it to be just a lil bit!.!.!.i mean seriously look at what is going on oltl!.!.!.todd would be in jail already for what he has done to those kids!.!.and other then his kid being taken away he should have gone ot jail for not having sam in a car seat!.!.!.its against the law to have him out of it!. so in my opinion i don think any of it is based on realityWww@Enter-QA@Com
