Question: Judge Judy Needs To Get Slapped Sometimes!?
Sometimes it's great to see her sock it to someone who deserves it, but other times, she could use a smack!.
I watch after work most days & many times I totally believe what 1 of the litigants are telling her & she comes right out & says they're lying!.
How the hell is She So sure!?!?

They have to write up their version of the story before trial, so she's just not going off a feeling, she already has some background on the case!.

Yah, sometimes I think the judge and both litigants need to be cuffed upside the head by a very large animal - say, an Alaskan Brown Bear in a bad mood!.
At work we have a TV monitor in the break room, and invariably people will tune into one of these 'People's Court' kinds of shows (Judge Judy as well as others)!. Sometimes, against my better instincts, I stay and watch a few minutes of one of these shows, first asking myself, are the litigants even remotely aware they risk appearing dumb as bricks in this context!? Secondly, why would they willingly put themselves in such a position (the odds do not favor them appearing as self-aware, self-responsible individuals)!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know what you mean it is like she thinks she's a mind reader and knows everything!. But they must of done something wrong if there in the court house standing in front of her besides she's funny to watch and i don't think i will ever have to have her yell at me anyway so i will get to enjoy her TV show tonight!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I used to watch Judge Judy ALL the time! I really liked her, but thought she was a little scary!. Why people would actually want to go on that show is beyond me!. I agree, she pretty much thinks everyones lying, it gets annoying after a while! I guess she and Burt are the only honest ones in that courtroom according to her, and I don't think Burt really likes her all that well either : PWww@Enter-QA@Com
I agree, she's probably the most irritating that way (of all the daytime entertainment "Judges") but it "might" be on purpose Fonzie!. The show is entertainment not part of the Justice system so that's all to the good, stirring things up and all!. You do realize that both parties are getting paid for appearing also don't you!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
I love Judge Judy and I agree with you she seems off the mark sometimes!. Most of the time she smacks down the right person with a zest that keeps us all watching!. She is a real confident person that is always sure of how she feels about things and has a nose and eye for lyers!. There are tells that a good judge or poker player could see easily!. Not looking at her is a big one!. So many years at work makes it easier too!. Oops I need to go watch her right now she is on see ya!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I agree!. I think she's been very unfair to people, she didn't really understand what they were trying to tell her!. She also insists that people will always act logically; and we all know from practical experience that isn't always true!. I"ve stopped watching her and all the other judges anyway, it's so over!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wonder about that myself!.!.!.!. they are both there, looking her in the eye (or so it seems), telling *completely* different stories! I would have NO CLUE how to tell who was telling the truth and who was lying, and when she makes her decision, she always just puts it out there like she *knows*!.!.!. CreepyWww@Enter-QA@Com
I agree with you, but you need to realize that we don't get to see what they wrote in their answers!. Oftentimes, what they are saying now is completely different that what they said in their paperwork originally!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
