Why didnt Archuleta win American Idol?!
Question: Why didnt Archuleta win American Idol!?
Ok so number 1 I think Archuleta is sooo much more talented than Cook!.
Number 2 Simon Cawell already pointed out that he SHOULD be the american idol!.
Number 3 The only reason cook won was because of popularity!.
Now I am thinking that american idol is rigged because its only the fans voting!. Which is stupid because people who actually have potential are getting voted off!. Like for example Sanjaya he should have been kicked off in the first week! But instead his fans voted for him and knocked actually good people off!. If simon already said that he though David Archuleta was american idol then why wasnt he!? They need to do 50/50 like dancing with the stars!.

They are both really talented, and though I did like DC better than Archie (he's more my style), I do agree that he is very talented at 17!. He is going to have a cd come out -all runner-ups do- and I'm sure it will do very well as far as sales are concerned!.
I wouldn't be surprised if his cd was the best album to come out by a runner-up!. You don't really hear too too much about the runner-ups from previous seasons, but I'm convinced Archie has a bright future!. Relax, it's going to be alright!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because more older people are watching the show and they don't think the Archuleta is cute!. They care about the voice!. David Cook did ballads and rock songs on the show and was awesome!. Archie did not win because he was meant for bigger and better things than what American Idol could offer!. I know I said the same thing for when Jason got the boot, but it is true!. The true winners of this season are the viewers and their favorite Idol for being discovered!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
First off I!.M!.O!. David A is a good singer but David C has a better range !. Give David A a few years and he might Blow David C away just not enough range YET also the 4 hour voting made a difference due to most kids have a "bedtime" also!. David Archuleta was very talented, it's just that David Cook seemed to have more going for him!.
He took risks!. He can sing anything, slow or fast, flawlessly!. He went out of his comfort zone week after week!. He rearranged pieces to suit his style with amazing creativity and originality!. He knew what songs to choose!. He sang music no one had heard of before, & made them modern-day hits!. He improved every single week!. He never had ONE bad performance!. He never made a mistake regarding lyrics!. His stage presence is outstanding!. He has a great personality!. He is marketable in today's industry!. He's experienced!. He knows who he is as a musician!. He is ready to release albums!.
There is no doubt in my mind that, though I loved many of the contestants this season, David Cook had done the most to show he earned the victory!. Here are my rebuttals to your reasons: 1) We all have our own opinions, & that's what gives this show it's spark!. You thought little David was "sooo much more talented", & I thought David Cook had proven himself!. Apparently, America agreed with me, simple as that!. 2) 87% of viewers say the judges do not influence their vote, so unless all 87% of viewers were lying, Simon did not have anything to do with David Cook's victory!. Besides, Randy advocated for David Archuleta just as much as Simon did for David Cook!. 3) How can David Cook win due to popularity, when he is up against an adorable & sweet 17-year old who is about as humble as a rose!? If popularity had anything to do with the results, they would have been in favor of little David (you have to admit, he's a cutie!)

Unfortunately, voting isn't perfect!.
