No, during the season the diners at Hell's Kitchen do not pay for the meals!. It is taken care of by the network as far as cost of food & the in training chef's are working for free!. Up until last week, the people in the dining room had yet to receive their main course and desserts so & I know there is never any checks left at the table or money exchanged between Jean Phillipe and the diners!.

Nope they don't pay!. If you look closely at the menus you can see that there are no prices!. And no one ever says anything about not paying and you don't see Jean Phillipe offering to comp a meal because it's bad (or didn't even make it to the table)!.
Getting into the restaurant is quite difficult though, and the catch is that while you will get to be part of the experience, you may be sitting for hours without anything to eat (although the wine always seems to be flowing!)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no, the reservations for dinners there are made the same time people apply to be contestants on the show!. getting a reservation is hard and when someone is able to get one, fox pays for everything!. it's just like an experience =)Www@Enter-QA@Com
