Does anyone know why they killed off Julia Santos on AMC ?!

in the soap world, if a character is really liked and loved by the viewers, then it isn't working and they need to kill them off!. Sort of like the govt these days, if it's not broke, fix it so it will be!. It's sad they have done away with the Santo's family!. Demitri, Edmund, Mateo were all fun to watch!. It is sad that she had to die when so many storylines could have come from the custody battle of Kate, They could have brought Noah back and have julia get PG, etc!. a lot of missed opportuniuties have been happening at AMC!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I read that they couldn't find a good storyline for her!. Sydney Penny was in a lot of movies as a child including "Pale Rider" with Clint Eastwood!. She was also in a short lived "Gidget" series as a teen, where she played the neice of a grown up Gidget, before joining "All My Children!." I don't think we've seen the last of this talented actress, even if she's gone from Pine Valley for good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was so glad to see her return, and fill the Santos house with young people living and laughing,,, it was a great story!. there are enough young people to fill that house again,,, if she had lived,,,, Jake, Colby, nurse Nadine,,etc
I am miserable they let her die that way!. If the truth came out about Tad really being Kathy (Kate's) Daddy, Julia is upstanding enough to have never fought for custody with Tad
They would have found a graceful way to deal with it!.!.

They fired her!. They had no story for her character to go and didn't want another custody battle when Tad takes Kate back!. But why didn't they just kill her off then instead of saying she's moving to Australia!? She always had such a boring role to play for being such a good actress!. She'll do better than AMC!. I hate to see her go she is a great actress !. I would have loved to see Noah come back he was just HOT and they really made a great couple !. I heard she had a baby recently and maybe she just wanted to be a mom for a while and take a breakWww@Enter-QA@Com

Julia Santos (Sydney Penny) had been reduced to a non-existent character for so long now and the Julia told told everyone that she’s moving overseas with Kate (Tad and Dixie's daughter)!. I saw this coming but I will miss Jula Santos, she had so much potential!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because they never could find a good story for her and rather than have another custody battle to watch for Kathy, they killed her so nothing would stand in Tads way!. It has been far to drawn out to have him to have to fight for her!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree!.!.!.Julia character had all kinds of potential!.!.!.they could have even brung Noah back!.!.!.I suspect that is so Tad could get Kate without a battle!.!.!.which would have been a great storyline too
