Question: I may be the only one who doesn't know, but what is "Lost" about!?
Can you give me a concise version of what the tv show "Lost" is about and what has happened on the show, so I can have some clue when I watch it!.
I know this much!.!.!.
it's about a bunch of people trapped on an island and people trying to kill them or kidnap them!.

Lost is hard to explain, trust me!.
The main story is basically about a group of survivors from a plane crash trying to survive on an island inhabited by different groups of people!. They are all connected somehow, although they do not know each other!. The island used to be the study of a scientific group called the Dharma Initiative, who wanted to study the unique properties of the island!.
The story is told through present time [them on the island], flashbacks [individual characters before they crashed on the island], and now--flashforwards [what happens after the island]!.
It's a very complex show--you really need to watch it to understand everything!. It's amazing, it really is!.
And I feel as though I should add this: even the most hardcore viewers STILL have no idea what's going on!. But I will let you know [since people STILL go on about this]--they are NOT in prugatory, and it is NOT all a dream!. The producers of the show have debunked those storylines!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Tough question, but I'll try!. It's about a bunch of people who have crashed on a secluded island!. Once on the island they are forced to deal with danger, deaths, their pasts, their secrets and trying to survive and get off the island!. There are very mystical things about the island, including a smoke monster, a mysterious being called Jacob and polar bears!. There is something that ties all of the crash victims together, although it is a mystery at this point!. They also show flashbacks and flashforwards so we know about the character's past and what brought them to be on the plane that crashed!. We also know six of them were rescued and we will slowly find out how and why some people were left behind on the island and not rescued!. Of course there are deaths, accidents and romance on the island!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
woah!! There is way to much to explain, cospiracys(sp), time warps & travel, black smoke monsters, scientific anomallies, miracles, ghosts, etc!. etc!. You have to watch EVERY episode to know what is going on, if I miss one I'm LOST!. lol

its " about " an hour too long and a waste of time
it reminds me of a proggramme that was on here in the uk years ago called " the prisoner " it was about nothing it was great tv but it was purely a lot of stories cobbled together that the writer made up and let the people watching it make up there own theories about what was happening
