Question: American Idol!? Why, after these people we love so much win!.!.!.you don't hear from them again!?
Kelly was the first!.!.!.!.they didn't know what was going to happen, so AI probably didn't have her on such a short leash!.!.!.but Ruben, Fantasia, Taylor!.!.!.!.David! Where do these people go!? I think America voted for them, we want to hear from them!.!.!.!.It seems once the show raps up!.!.!.!.I have know clue where these people disappear to!?!?!? Same here, but hopefully it won't happen with Cook!. The thing is that everyone is past the Idol phase when the season ends because they expect the same generic "bubble-gum pop star" type of music from the winner every year!. However, I think we all know Cook doesn't fit in that category at all!. I'm confident that he won't give up his rock roots to satisfy the requirements of a label contract!. He's one of those guys who you just know isn't going to change for other people; he knows who he is as a musician, pure & simple!. He'll deliver what he does best, & he's a rock star!.
I'm eagerly expecting his first album, & hopefully he doesn't let me down!
Regardless, I still thought he did the most to deserve the victory this season (though there were other contestants I loved)!. If he doesn't break the "Idol curse", then I don't think any of the other finalists would've been able to do any better!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think that David Cook has some great appeal!. Kelly Clarkson had a great career, but she had a fight with some powerful people who are not as keen to support her anymore!. Ruben was pretty good but he was too categorized to appeal to a broader audience the way that Clay Aiken is not!. Clay is able to connect with a broader audience!. Fantasia is doing well with some Broadway shows but she doesn't have the broad appeal that Carrie Underwood has!. Finally I think that Taylor was a fluke!. He looks old so the teens are not going to buy his stuff!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They are out touring, making albums!. Carrie keeps winning awards and getting albums out there!. Kelly is on tour all the time and has a new album every year or two!. Fantasia continues to tour!. Even second and third place people show up - Tamara Gray, Bo, Clay Aiken - I see interviews with them every few months!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
most of the winners have been dropped by their record labels!. they havent been getting very good album reviews!. its probably because most of the time the winners are the most popular, not the best singers!. i think david cook wil come out with an album, and 'archie' or whatever will probably make one too!. but im not sure what kinda reviews they will get, but just hope for the best!.

I agree with you here! What the heck happened to Idol greats like Ruben, Fantasia, Taylor( which i dont care for), and it might happen to Kelly! But dont worry hopefully it wont happen to David Cook! Well, Kelly has done really well for herself!. But as for the others!.!.!.I have seen CDs from them that have come out!.!.!.but I haven't listened to them!.!.!.I think when they come out, they are popular for a little while, then go back into oblivian!. Oh, and Daughtry was really popular too!.!.!.even though he never won A!.I!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The fame just gets to their heads and they feel like since they won, they have reached the end, but it's actually just the beginning, and they wait to long to produce an album, and everyone forgets about them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Some of them make it, some of them don't!. It all depends on what record label they get signed on to and how much people like the music they put out!. The music industry is really hard!.!.!.that's why so many artists fail!. Reuben Studdard has put music out since Idol but no one really likes it!.!.!.so you don't hear about it much!. Idols like that just kind of disappear into the background while singers like Britney, Madonna, and Mariah take the lead!.
